MY PERSONAL LIFE  |

I was raised in, and lived in Southern California most of my life.  We moved to Texas in the summer of 2000, and we love it here (my husband is a born & bred Texan)! I have been married for close to 30 years, and I am the mom of 3 amazing (and now all adult) boys that attended Flower Mound High School.  Besides photography, my biggest passion is horses.  I started riding before I walked, and I ride and show horses (jumpers and more recently, dressage) every chance I get. I still feel like I'm 20 (and act like it most of the time).  I love to ski (water & snow); read (I am a huge Harry Potter nerd); and I was a dancer once upon a time!  But most of the time, I just love to be with my family and animals.

MY PROFESSIONAL LIFE  |

I have had a love for photography since my parents put my first camera in my hands at the age of 8. By the time I was 13,  I had my first "real" camera.  I began studying Photography and taking classes in my freshman year of high school, and continued throughout my formal education. Since the art of photography is constantly changing, I have continued my education through classes, clinics and seminars.  I have taught photography through multiple venues as well.  I started my photography business officially in 2007, starting out with film cameras, and eventually going digital.  Photography is something I have been doing most of my life, and studied formally for many years.  My approach to photography is somewhat classic, but also fun, artistic and semi-photojournalistic. Through my lens, I love to discover what makes each child, high-school senior, relationship, or family special.  I strive to create portraits that capture your uniqueness, and immortalize the expressions (not just smiles!) that you will cherish for generations!

Like people, every session is different.  I try to customize each session to the individual.  I take into consideration the personality, mood, age, interests, and style of my clients. Because each session is unique, I allow for plenty of time and do not stop until I'm sure that we have a wide variety of images that you will love. I hope to provide an experience that will be remembered fondly, and portraits that you will love!

I understand that your time is valuable. I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my site. Please feel free to call me with any questions or date inquiries, or you may e-mail me using the "contact" link above.
